Platypus Skull Pendant
Ornithorhynchus anatinus - These semiaquatic, duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed animals can be found in eastern Australia and Tasmania. They are one of the five extant species of monotremes (mammals that lay eggs instead of giving birth to live young). Platypuses use electrolocation for hunting in murky waters, and they are one of the few venomous mammal species, as the male platypus has a spur on the hind foot that delivers an extremely painful venom.
Includes matching 24 inch chain.
Wooden display base optional.
Skull Dimensions: 34mm x 20mm x 16mm
